|Traceable® Clock - The world's most accurate.|
| Accurate to 1/10,000 of a second
Automatically changes day and date
Corrects for daylight saving time
Features a direct radio-controlled link to NISTs Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado
|New Traceable® Clock is accurate
to 1/10,000 of a second at all times. Receives a signal directly from the worlds
most accurate timekeeper, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
NISTs atomic clock is accurate to one hundred billionth of a second. Ideal for recording the receiving of samples, noting the exact time an event occurred, supporting lab documentation, providing a standard for a locations other clocks, maintaining ISO 9000 certification, and for the myriad of occasions when knowing the exact time is immensely valuable.
NIST radio signal automatically sets and precisely displays time of day to the second, A.M./P.M., month, date, and day of the week. It automatically adjusts the clock for daylight saving time, leap year, and leap seconds (earth rotation wobble corrections). An individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided to indicate accuracy and traceability to standards provided by NIST.
Display includes a signal reception strength indicator and a U.S. map showing the user-selected time zone. Night-vision electroluminescent backlighting permits viewing in total darkness. Settable alarmfor noisy areas the alarm increases in volume and intensity until turned off. Traceable® Clock functions as a radio receiver whose internal computer processes the NIST signal. Supplied complete with a T-bar ferrite omnidirectional antenna that receives the NIST 10 kW-coordinated universal time signal transmitted by WWVB at 60 kHz.
LCD digits, 1/2-inch-high, are readable from over 10 feet.
Battery operation (two AAAs supplied) eliminates electrical outage concerns and powers the unit continuously for 1 year.
