#880 Equatorial Table Tripod ETX-90EC and ETX-125EC models permit pushbutton tracking of astronomical objects from their standard-equipment Electronic Controllers. For fully automatic tracking a table tripod, or the # 883 Deluxe Field Tripod, may be added, allowing for polar alignment of the telescope. Each table tripod includes two fixed legs and two variable-length legs inscribed with a range of latitude settings for quick polar alignment. At observing latitude settings below 25º the optional # 1422 Low-Latitude Balance Weight (not shown) is recommended for the ETX-90EC.

#884 Deluxe Field Tripod for ETX Astro Telescopes The full-length Meade # 884 Deluxe Field Tripod accepts any ETX Astro Telescope model and provides a rigid mounting platform for virtually any observing application, astronomical or terrestrial. Suitable for either standing or seated observing, the # 884 is adjustable from 34" to 54". Micrometric controls in both azimuth (horizontal) and elevation (polar) angle permit precise polar alignment of the telescope's fork mount for astronomical applications. Elevation angle can be fixed at any observing latitude 20º to 90º. The 90º (altazimuth) orientation is desirable for terrestrial observations or for the astronomical applications of ETX-90EC and ETX-125EC models equipped with the optional Autostar Computer Controller, where fully automatic sidereal-rate tracking can be accomplished with the telescope in altazimuth mode. Each ETX Astro Telescope model attaches to the tripod in seconds with two thumbscrews. Net tripod weight is 11 Lbs.

#825 8x25mm Right-Angle Viewfinder Allows for a comfortable 90º viewing position with the ETX-90EC. The # 825 viewfinder replaces standard-equipment 8x21mm viewfinder and fits into the same bracket on the telescope. Standard-equipment on the ETX-125EC.

#1342 Soft Carry Bag Meade soft-padded carry bags are well-suited to travel with the ETX-90EC Astro Telescope.  Each carry bag includes a shoulder strap and permits ready transport of the complete telescope, including accessories.

#126 2x Barlow Lens An amplifying lens, the multi-coated # 126 2x Barlow doubles the powers of all eyepieces with which it is used. Insert the Barlow ( arrow ) into the telescope's eyepieces holder first, followed by an eyepiece. The # 126 is intended for astronomical applications.

#932 45º Erecting Prism All ETX models include an internal optical-flat mirror to reflect light to the telescope's 90º astronomical observing position; in this position the telescope's image is upright, but reversed. For terrestrial observing with any model of ETX Astro Telescope the # 932 Prism results in a fully correctly oriented image and a convenient 45º observing angle. Note: The # 932 Prism is included in ETX SPOTTING Scopes.

#1244 Electronic Focuser Meade-engineered for smooth, rapid focusing of the image with any ETX model, each focuser includes coarse and micro fine speeds. The standard-equipment hand controller accepts one (user-supplied) 9-volt battery and focuses the ETX-90EC and ETX-125EC Astro telescopes. The focuser plugs into, and is powered by, the telescope's control panel, with operation effected through either the Electronic Controller or Autostar hand boxes. #1244 for ETX-90EC model #1247 for ETX-125EC model

#64 T-Adapter The basic means of photography through any ETX Astro telescope or Spotting Scope, the # 64 T-Adapter threads to the rear cell of the telescope, followed by a T-mount appropriate to the user's brand of 35mm camera. In this way the camera body is rigidly coupled to the telescope's optical system, which in effect becomes the camera's lens.

# 607 Power Adapters and Cords In addition to their internal battery packs ETX-90EC and ETX-125EC telescopes may be powered from standard 115v AC home electricity with the # 541 AC Adapter. The # 541 plugs into any standard home

Alternately, either telescope may be powered in the field by using # 607 Power Cord (shown), a 25ft. cord which plugs into the telescope's control panel and supplies 12v DC directly from the car battery.
